AUTOMECH Inaugurates Factory No. 2 – Automotive Parts and Home Appliance Components Manufacturing Plant

On June 15, 2026, Automech Mechanical Equipment and Solution Joint Stock Company officially held the Grand Opening Ceremony of Production Factory No. 2 at the Viet-Nhat Industrial Cluster, Bac Ninh Province. This event marks an important development step in Automech’s production capacity expansion strategy, while demonstrating the enterprise’s commitment to participating deeper in the supporting industry supply chain in Vietnam.

The commissioning of Factory No. 2 not only helps Automech increase its manufacturing capacity for mechanical components, auto parts, motorbike parts, electric vehicle parts, and household appliance components, but also contributes to promoting localization goals in the manufacturing industry. From the foundation of component production, Automech expects to gradually drive the synchronous development of related fields such as molds, fixtures, product design, machine building, automation, and technical services for production.

FROM FACTORY NO. 1 TO THE ASPIRATION OF EXPANDING PRODUCTION CAPACITY

Prior to investing in Production Factory No. 2, Automech had operated for many years in the field of providing mechanical equipment, solutions, automation, and production lines for industrial enterprises in Vietnam.

Accompanying its customers, Automech realized that the demand for the supply of high-quality mechanical components, parts, and product assemblies manufactured right in Vietnam was becoming increasingly urgent. Especially in industries such as automobiles, motorbikes, electric vehicles, household appliances, and supporting industries, taking initiative in domestic supply not only helps shorten delivery times and optimize costs but also contributes to increasing the localization rate and reducing reliance on imported supplies.

Driven by those practical needs, Automech gradually shifted its role from an equipment and solution supplier to directly participating in production. In 2023, Automech’s Production Factory No. 1 at Dinh Tram Industrial Park, Bac Ninh officially went into operation, marking an important transformation for the business.

Equipped with a modern machinery system and a team of experienced engineers, Factory No. 1 has step-by-step mastered production stages for molds, fixtures, automated machines, mechanical assemblies, and products serving the automotive, motorbike, and supporting industries.

After nearly three years of operation, Factory No. 1 has not only helped Automech improve its internal production capacity but also created a foundation for the enterprise to participate in many large-scale projects for customers such as VinFast, Kim Long Motor – Hue, SYV, South Korean FDI clients, and many other partners in industrial manufacturing. This served as an important stepping stone for Automech to progressively affirm the competence of a Vietnamese mechanical enterprise in the modern production supply chain.

THE DRIVING FORCE BEHIND THE BIRTH OF FACTORY NO. 2

The success of Factory No. 1, along with the growing demand for production expansion from the market and the desire to attract more opportunities for component localization, became the driving force for Automech to continue investing in the construction of Production Factory No. 2.

In addition to market factors, Government policies to promote the development of the private economy, support manufacturing enterprises, and develop supporting industries also formed an important foundation for domestic mechanical enterprises to confidently invest in-depth. The companionship and support of local authorities at all levels during project implementation also created favorable conditions for Automech to accelerate its investment progress and bring the factory into operation ahead of schedule.

According to a representative of Automech’s Board of Directors: “Factory No. 2 is not just an expansion of production scale, but also a strategic step to improve supply capacity, increase the localization rate of mechanical components, and prepare for the goal of deeper integration into the global supply chain in the coming years.”

Breaking ground at the end of 2025, Production Factory No. 2 was completed and put into operation after about 8 months of construction. Throughout the implementation process, the project was strictly controlled in terms of progress, construction quality, labor safety, fire prevention and fighting, and technical requirements in accordance with current regulations.

Completing the project within a short period not only demonstrates the investment determination of the enterprise but also showcases the project organization, management, and implementation capabilities of the Automech team.

METHODICAL INVESTMENT FOR SUPPORTING INDUSTRY PRODUCTION

Production Factory No. 2 is oriented to become a production hub for stamped parts, metal components, and assemblies serving the automotive, motorbike, electric vehicle, household appliance, and other supporting industries.

The main production categories at the factory include:

• Sheet metal stamping powered by the Yadon brand

• Detail processing and assembly with automatic spot welding and Mig/Mag welding stations

• Production of auto parts, motorbike parts, and electric vehicle parts

• Production of household appliance components

• Production of mechanical assemblies for supporting industries

Not only investing in machinery systems and production lines, Automech also focuses on building a quality management system, operating procedures, production control standards, and a professional working environment. These are critical factors for the enterprise to meet the increasingly stringent requirements from domestic customers, FDI enterprises, and international manufacturing corporations.

In particular, developing domestic component manufacturing capacity does not stop at creating the final product. Behind every mechanical detail is an entire industrial ecosystem encompassing product design, mold design, mold fabrication, precision machining, machine building, automation, quality inspection, and production management. This is also the value chain that Automech is gradually building and mastering.
